GINULANTANG ng Asian Institute of Maritime Studies men's basketball team ang defending champion Immaculada Concepcion College ng Caloocan, 92-78 sa main game opening ng National Capital Region Athletic Association (NCRAA) season nitong nakaraang weekend sa Philsports Arena, Pasig City.

Nagpakitang - gilas agad ang beteranong pointguard na si Jericho Peralta na kumamada ng game high 23 puntos katuwang niya sina Danny Datwin na nag-ambag ng 14 puntos halos sa final period,12 puntos kay Andrei Geronimo,tig-sampung puntos sina rookies JB Odvina at Mark Aizen Reyes ,kapwa tumikada ng 9 sina Aaron Munsayac Matthew Lapira habang 9,4 at 2 pts naman mula kina Florence Montilla,Benedict Remeterrie at Jasmer Reynaldo ayon sa pagkakasunod.

Inilatag agad ang nagbabagang opensa at malagkit na defensa ni Blue Sharks headcoach Kiko Flores kontra ICC upang iangkla at supilin ang puwersa ng nagdedepensang kampeon mula tipoff hanggang buzzer para mabingwit ang buwenamanong panalo ng AIMS sa umarangkadang NCRAA season.

Katuwang na bench tactician ni Flores sina coaches Darwin dela Punta,Ace Santos,Ejay delos Santos,Sherlock Manabat,Julian Abovias at Jonathan Deocareza.Team consultant si ex-PBA Arnold Gamboa.

Ang panalo ng Blue Sharks ay handog ni coach Flores at ng buong koponan sa very supportive management partikular kina president Arlene Abuid Paderanga, VP Janet Abuid Dandan,VP and sports executive Ted Cada, Rogin Gener, Norman Pangilinan, Arvel Cabaling, Robbie Tantoco at buong AIMS community.

" We're proud of our Blue Sharks.I'm optimistic that this victory sgainst powerhouse ICC will ignite our winning tradition of AIMS sports and beyond," sambit ni Cada sa panayam.
