Armymen champion in PSC-ROTC Games National Finals
The Philippine Army won a total of 20 gold, 16 silver and 18 bronze medals to dominate the 2023 ROTC Games National Championships held yesterday at the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex in Malate, Manila.

The Philippine Army won a total of 20 gold, 16 silver and 18 bronze medals to dominate the 2023 ROTC Games National Championships held yesterday at the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex in Malate, Manila.
The Navy came second with 9 golds, 7 silvers and 15 bronzes, while the Air Force had 2 golds, 8 silvers and 13 bronzes in the battle of the cadet-athletes of the three service branches of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).
The Armymen won seven gold medals in the arnis including two by Maria LG Mae Ballester and one each by Lolito Bacor Jr., Villamiel Tiongson, Febie Tacda, Kyla Dela Torre and Joana Dela Cruz.
The Army boxers bagged five golds behind Florence Sumpay, Tina Pais, Kristine Grace Marquez, Alfred Deslate and Joel Efondo.
The Army has four golds in kickboxing from the wins of Betty Mae Churping, Kathleen Igualdo, Christopher Manipon and Kristel Grace Llenas.
Of Navy's nine golds, three came from Adamson University star Kent Francis Jardin who dominated the men's 200 meters, 4x100m and 4x400m relay of athletics.
The Navymen have two golds in e-sports and one each in arnis and kickboxing.
The Air Force grabbed two golds from the kickboxing and the 4x100m relay events.
In 3x3 basketball, Army's Jose Rizal Memorial State University defeated Navy's University of Cagayan Valley, 20-15, for the gold medal.
The Air Force's Ramon Magsaysay Memorial College edged out the Army's Western Institute of Technology, 21-17, for the bronze.
In volleyball, Adamson University grabbed the gold after beating the University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos, 3-1, while the University of Cagayan Valley defeated Rizal Technological University, 3-0, for the bronze.
