Batang Pinoy 2026: Host ang Bacolod City, 'Smile naman dyan... '!

SAKTO at matagumpay na natapos ang 2025 Batang Pinoy sa General Santos City, maraming mga batang atleta ang umukit ng record sa kanila-kanilang sport.

Posibleng nakatutok na ang ibang batang atleta na 17 anyos pababa sa susunod na edition ng grassroot program na ino-organisa ng Philippine Sports Commission, (PSA) sa pamumuno ni chairman Patrick "Pato" Gregorio.

"Let this shining solidarity of our community set the standard and awaken a movement that forges our next olympic champions." ani Gregorio.

Nahayag sa closing ceremony na sa Bacolod gaganapin ang 17th Batang Pinoy, hindi naitago ni Mayor Greg Gasataya ang saya nang maghayag ito ng pasasalamat sa muling magbabalik sa kanila ang pag host ng nasabing prestihiyong event ng mga batang atleta.

"In 1999 Bacolod City hosted the first Batang Pinoy, in 2001, 2013 tayo po ulit ang nag-host. Right now kami po ay nagpapasalamat sa Philippine Sports Commission under the leadership of chairman Pato Gregorio, the entire organizing committee for choosing Bacolod as the host for Batang Pinoy 2026." video message ni Gasataya.

Umabot ang sa 19,700 plus athletes ang Batang Pinoy 2025 mula sa 191 local government units na sumabak sa 27 sports events.

Nagpaligsahan ng galing ang mga atleta sa athletics, arnis, aquatics-swimming, archery, badminton, basketball (3x3), boxing, chess, cycling, dance sport, futsal, gymnastics, jiu-jitsu, judo, kickboxing, karate, muay, pencak silat, sepak takraw, soft tennis, tennis, table tennis, taekwondo, volleyball, wrestling, wushu at weightlifting.
