NAGBIGAY-PUGAY at taos na pagbati ang pahatid ng ama ng ating tennis star Alex Eala.

Kay Philippine Sports Commission Chairperson Patrick "Pato" Gregorio dahil sa matagumpay na inaugural hosting ng Philippine Women's Open sa pinagandang Rizal Memorial Tennis Center.

"What a winner event. You have gifted the nation. Continue to gift the country with these wonderful sporting events. The inspiration it (the Philippine Women's Open) ignites is immeasurable. Congratulations," sambit ng elder Eala sa kanilang naging pag-uusap ni Gregorio kamakalawa.

Ang leader ng PSC ay siyang naging instrumental sa pagdaraos ng first WTA 125 tournament sa bansa, "we need to to make the Filipino people smile. What he said was beautiful."aniya pa.

Di naman sinosolo ni Gregorio ang kredito sa pagiging punong-abala ng isang major international tennis competition na inorganisa ng Philippine Tennis Association

sa pamumuno ni ng pangulong si Paranaque City Mayor Eric Olivarez at secretary-general, Navotas City Mayor John Rey Tiangco, at ang basbas ng Women's Tennis Association, na siyang may timon sa women's pro tour.

"Just like it takes a community to create a world-class athletes, it also takes several collaborators in creating an international sporting event that we can all proud of,"wika naman ni Pato.

"Not only having our PSC people been working round-the-clock to create an ideal environment to stage the Philippine Women's Open since we announced it last December, but there also our key partners that have made this all possible,"punto ni Gregorio .

Kabilang sa kanila ang Manila City government sa pamumuno ni Mayor Isko Moreno, ang DPWH na nasa kumpas Secretary Vince Dizon, ang Metro Manila Development Authority at ang Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority ni Mark Lapid.

"Thanks to our collaborators like the Manila City government under Mayor Isko's dynamic leadership, the MMDA, TIEZA, and of course our police authorities, we have set the stage for the conduct of this international sporting event," malugod na tinuran ni Chair Pato..

The tournament, which has been playing to sellout crowds, was just a sample of what the National Sports Tourism-Inter Agency Committee created by Administation Order No. 38 by President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Jr. of the income potential of international meets in country, sambit ni Gregorio .
