Olympic medalist and SEA Games gold medalist, World Boxing Council (WBC), International Middleweight Champion, and undefeated professional boxer Eumir Felix Marcial, together with his team, made a recent courtesy visit to Games and Amusements Board (GAB) Chairman Atty. Francisco J. Rivera at the GAB Central Office in Makati City.
The visit underscored Marcial’s plans to strengthen boxing development in his hometown of Zamboanga through professional boxing promotions. His initiative aims to provide aspiring boxers with opportunities to discover and sharpen their skills, while opening doors for them to compete at the professional level.
To show support for Marcial’s commitment to uplifting professional boxing both inside and outside the ring, and his compassion for fellow boxers, Chairman Rivera, through the Boxing and Other Contact Sports (BOCS) Division, promptly evaluated Marcial’s requirements and facilitated the processing and issuance of his GAB license as a Professional Boxing Promoter.
Beyond his victories as a professional boxer, our champion now holds his GAB license to promote professional boxing events.
