The Philippine Sudokwan Team extends its deepest appreciation and sincere gratitude to HON. CONGRESSMAN BRIAN POE FPJ PANDAY BAYANIHAN

House of Representatives, Quezon City (Rm. NW-208), for his invaluable financial assistance to our athletes who represented the Philippines in the

1ST WUSHU COMBAT WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

held in Labuan, Malaysia, on October 15–19, 2025.

Through Congressman Poe’s generosity and support — providing the necessary financial assistance for our 19 ATHLETES’ TRAVEL TAX — our team was able to successfully fly and compete internationally.

On October 14, the day of our flight, our team faced unexpected financial challenges with travel tax payments. With faith, we prayed and asked for God’s help. By divine grace, we crossed paths with Congressman Brian Poe in the hallway — he smiled at the team, and that smile became a sign of hope. When we shared our situation, Congressman Poe immediately invited us to his office and extended his help without hesitation. Truly, God sent Congressman Brian Poe as an instrument to make our mission possible. 🙏

Because of his kind heart and timely support, our team proudly represented the Philippines and brought home honor and medals for our country. His assistance played a vital role in realizing our mission to uplift grassroots Filipino athletes, especially those coming from humble and rural backgrounds.
