Friendship Football Cup.. ITALY XI OUTSCORE PH SELECTION VIA SHOOTOUT

THE Philippines- Italy Friendship Cup turned out to be a very competitive and exciting match where the outcome was decided only by a penalty shootout in favor of the visiting team,5-3.

The home team got the upperhand in the first 60 minutes of the friendly match, 2-1 . The visitors never gave up as they got a big break in the dying seconds of the second half in a last possession goal by Jed Francisco for the equalizer,2-2.

At the shootout, Italy convincingly prevailed in the successful exhibition game held at the jampacked Rizal Memorial Football Stadium as part of the celebration of the National Day of Italy 2024 led by Italian Ambassador Marco Clemente.
