MATAGUMPAY NA PRISAA 2024: CV AT BICOL REGION ANG KAPWA KAMPEON

Legazpi City, Albay- "MATAGUMPAY!".

Ito ang binulalas ni PRISAA National Executive Director Prof. Elbert “Bong” Atilano Sr. sa panayam matapos ang closing ceremony ng PRISAA National Games na dinaluhan ni Senator Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go at Philippine Sports Commission Commissioner Edward Hayco na idinaos dito sa Ibalong Recreation Center kung saan ginawa rin ang Mayor’s Night na dinaluhan ni Chairman Richard Bachman bago pumunta sa Paris Olympic Games sa France.

Tinalaga ni Bachmann si Hayco bilang guest of honor sa closing ceremony na ayon sa kanya - "PRISAA survived all challenges tangible and intangible aggravated by bad weather dala ng bagyong si Carina that lashed out Bicol Region for one week.It’s an overwhelming success,” wika ni Hayco matapos makipagusap kay Sen. Go.

“Overall, the weeklong competition ended a success despite adversities encountered during the conduction of the competition. The competition runs smooth no untoward incidence happens despite inclement weather condition,”ani pa Atilano.

Dagdag pa niya,ngayon lang nangyari sa PRISAA na nagkaroon ng weather disturbance.

Gagawin aniya ang 2024 edition sa Tuguegarao, Cagayan at lalaruin ito ng summer para hindi mabalam at tuluy-tuloy ang laro ng mga atleta.

“We will hold the competition during summer so as not to hamper the smooth flow of the competition,” dagdag ng dating vice president of the Weightlifting Association of the Philippines.

Napanalunan ng Central Visayas ang overall sa senior division humakot 119-73-65 may kabuuan 257 medals at dinomima ng host Bicol Region ang youth komolekta 84-63-53 may kabuuang 200 medals.

Ngayon lang nangyari sa kasaysayan ng PRISAA na dinomina ng mga Bicolano athletes ang junior category ,kadalasan ay kinokontrol ng Western Visayas, Central Visayas at Region IV-A (Calabarzon)anv dibisyon.

Tulad sa mga nagdaan tournaments marami na naman natuklasan mga atletang may potential kakatawan sa bansa sa mga international competitions.

Ang PRISAA ang breeding at producer ng mga national athletes kumakatawan sa bansa sa mga international sports competitions. Maraming mga batang may potentials na naman ang natuklasan sa competition.

“Many young promising talents surfaced in the weeklong competition and PRISAA once again lived up to expectation as sources of talents in sports someday will represent the country in international tournaments,” pahayag ni Atilano hawak ang buong results ng senior and youth divisions.

Mahigit 10,000 atleta galing sa mahigit 400 colleges and universities sa buong bansa ang lumahok sa taonan school-based competition unang ginawa sa Legazpi City ,home of the majestic Mayon Volcano.
