NCFP DIRECTOR GATICALES CHESSFEST GOES TO FARMERS' CUBAO

IT's all systems go for the biggest board contest for young woodpushers 12-under R- 1950 in Quezon City.

The National Chess Federation of the Philippines (NCFP) headed by Director Martin "Binky" Gaticales and Arbiter Roy Madayag announced the staging of Rapid Chess Tournament dubbed as Directors Cup on Saturday , October 18 at the lower ground activity area at Farmers Plaza Araneta City in Cubao.

Open to all Non Masters with rating 1950 and 12 years old below cash prizes and medals for the winners in different categories.

The tournament begins at 11am.

Qualifications are children below 14 years having a 500 reading and up and those having a Glyn coma of all ages is free to sll ages. Bring medical certificates," said Chess Director Gaticales.
