NM Nika Juris Nicolas is set to compete in AACC HK

National Master Nika Juris Nicolas will represent the Philippines in the 2025 Asian Amateur Chess Championships, to be held in Hong Kong from July 31 to August 9.

“I would like to thank the Hong Kong China Chess Federation Limited for inviting me to participate in the 2025 Asian Amateur Chess Championships in Hong Kong. I’m hoping to gain some ELO rating points,” said NM Nicolas.

NM Nicolas is fresh from winning three gold medals in the 2025 Pasiglympics, conquering the Under-14, Under-13, and Under-12 chess tournaments held in Pasig City. She won the Classical Chess, Fischer Random Chess, and ASEAN chess events.
