Team Suarez Requests Immediate WBO Clarification on Mandated Navarette Remarch Following Delays and Unification Talks-

LCS Group representing undefeated Filipino Junior Lightweight # 1 contender Charly'The King's Warrior' Suarez(18-0,10 KOs)is requesting immediate clarification from the World Boxing Organization( WBO) regarding the status of the mandated rematch with Emmanuel Navarette.This request follows the California State Athletic Commission( CSAC)reversal of the first fight.

The Controversial First Fight: Facts, Rulings , and Standards

- On May 10, 2025, Suarez challenged Mexican Navarette for the WBO World Junior Lightweight Title at Pachanga Arena in San Diego.The bout was stopped at 2.01 of round8 due to a cut over Navarette's left eye, which referee Zachary Young incorrectly ruled an accidental headbutt sending the fight to scorecards.

- Navarette was awarded a technical decision by official scores of:77-76,78-75,77-76( all for Navarette).

-Video review later confirmed the cut was cause by a clean left hand punch from Suarez.

-On June 2,2025,the CSAC overturned the bout to a new contest confirming the referees call.

ABC Rule Underscores the Seriousness of the Error**

- According to the ABC Regulatory Guidelines;

" When a cut is produced by a legal punch and the fight is stopped because of the cut,the injured boxer shall lose by Technical Knock out (TKO)."

While CSAC elected the no contest remedy, this standard highlights how significant the officiating error was, and why the WBO's immediate rematch order must be upheld.

- Despìte that order, no date, venue or timetable has been communicated to Team Suarez.

Documented Delays and Conflicting Negotiations

On October 30, 2025, the WBO granted Navarette's camp a 15- day extension to finalize remàtch terms.That deadlìne has passed without any response to Team Suarez.

- Meanwhile Top Rank and Navarette have continued forward with a WBO/ IBF unification bout with Eduardo Nunez, reportedly sanctioned for February 28, 2026,despite;- All existing, active WBO rematch order- no step aside agreement with Suarez

-No communication from the WBO addressing Suarez's mandatory rights.

Top Rank also offrers an unranked, non mandatory bout in Las Vegas which Team Suarez declined due to active rematch mandate.

" I'm ready to fight.I earned the rematch, and all I want is the chance the WBO already granted", wika ng pambato nating si Suarez .

"CSAC made it clear the cut came from a clean punch.Under the U.S. rules that's a TKO.The WBO ordered the rematch , and we are simply asking the process to be respected," wika ni Coach Delfin Boholst na sinundan pa ng pahayag ni manager Ricardo Navalta.."We respect the sport but the mandatory challenger cannot be moved aside while unification plans advance, CSAC's ruling is clear and the WBO 's order is clear.What's not clear is why we have recived no response while another fight is being planned without our agreement?"
