HERE is a good news for Filipino people.

MITSUBISHI Motors Corporation (MMC) is bringing hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) manufacturing to its existing plant in Santa Rosa, Laguna.

“This is a landmark investment that will redefine the future of our automotive industry. And the even more exciting possibility is that we could be an exporter of hybrid cars.” said Finance Secretary Frederick D. Go.

MMC President and CEO Takao Kato reaffirmed the company’s strong confidence in the Philippine economy during a meeting with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. and Finance Secretary Frederick D. Go at Malacañan Palace today.

MMC’s investment is expected to create jobs, boost local industries, and advance the country’s transition to a cleaner, more sustainable future.
