FILIPINO memory master Robert Racasa delivered an impressive performance on the first day of the World Memory Championships 2025, standing out among top competitors from around the globe on Saturday, November 8, 2025 in Mumbai, India.

Racasa, the sole representative of the Philippines, demonstrated both focus and endurance as he secured strong placements in several key events of the competition, which gathered elite mental athletes from the U.S.A., France, Austria, Australia, Italy, Germany, Uzbekistan, India, and Nepal.

His day-one achievements included his consistency in Fifteen Minutes Random Words, Names and Faces, Five Minute Numbers, Binary Numbers and One Hour Cards.

These consistent high rankings across multiple disciplines underscore Racasa’s well-rounded mastery of the techniques used in memory sports — from visualization and association to speed recall.

The World Memory Championships, often called the “Olympics of the Mind,” challenge competitors in ten grueling disciplines designed to test the limits of human memory. Racasa’s performance not only showcased the Philippines’ growing presence in the global memory community but also inspired admiration from fellow athletes and spectators alike.

As the competition continues in Mumbai, Racasa remains determined to climb even higher in the overall standings, bringing pride to the Philippines and serving as a symbol of dedication and mental excellence.

His participation would be possible with undying support of The Philippine Sports Commission, Hotel Sogo, Cutting Edge, Bicycle Playing Cards, Sportsman Marlon Manalo and PCC. DAS
